Using Arabic text as his primary reference, Professor Dr. Ҫınar analyses the religious situation of the Ḥijāz within the context of the Qur’ānic annunciation and during the early-Islamic period. The book derived from his dissertation, assumes that pre-Islamic religious ideas – via their original transmission are located in Arabic-Islamic literature, whereby, their reconstruction is only possible through the analysis of such Arabic sources.
